Mechron provides several power solutions to meet a wide range of requirements.
 Prime Power
Mechron's on-site AC prime power solutions can supply the needs of any application up to a load of 10 MW. Prime power can be provided through single or multiple paralleled generator sets depending upon the application. Mechron's prime power solutions are custom designed to meet the needs of the installation. Prime power can operate from many different fuel sources including diesel, natural gas and propane. A prime power installation can be provided with a complete facilities design.

 Standby Power
Mechron’s AC standby power solutions can be provided in multiple configurations, ranging from a stand-alone generator set with manual transfer switch to a fully automated standby system with automatic transfer. For critical applications, multiple standby generators can be provided to ensure continuous uninterrupted power availability.
 CHP/Cogeneration
Combined Heat and Power (CHP) cogeneration adds to the efficiency of standard power plants by recovering waste heat from the generator set engine. This heat is used to produce steam or hot water, which can be used for a variety of applications, including heating, cooling and manufacturing processes.
 Peak Shaving
Operating a power consuming business during peak power demand hours poses two problems. The first problem is the cost of the power. Utilities increase their peak power rates significantly in an attempt to recover the costs of providing capacity or purchasing wholesale power to meet peak power demands. The second problem is the availability of the power. Deregulation of power utilities has lead to an environment where the necessary power is not always available, leading to rotating blackouts. By installing peak shaving power generation capability, businesses can substantially reduce their power costs and ensure that sufficient power is available to sustain operations in the event of a blackout. Mechron's peak shaving solutions can be designed to automatically supplement utility power during peak demand periods.
